The library is one of my all time favorite places to go and browse books, DVD’s and albums. I can be there for hours at a time. Don’t tell anyone but I actually like to tour the county and visit every library I can – they are all so unique! Then there’s the rest of the world that would just rather have everything at their fingertips and trust me, I get it.
This is one of the tips that I love most since it’s easy, avoids clutter (no books in your home) and of course, it’s FREE! You can get free e-books through your local library without having to move from your favorite spot on the couch.
The key is to keep only what you need! Too much of anything leads to clutter. Hold on to what is a necessity and donate the rest
When you have less dishes, it requires you to use just-in-time methods. For instance, the less dishes you have, the less your sink will fill up with dirty dishes and you can produce a good flow of clean ones.
Bins, bins and more bins! You may ask yourself, will a bin really make that much of a difference in keeping things organized? I asked myself the same when we were tidying our home – and yes, it makes a HUGE difference! They keep everything contained and in its place.

Ever come back from the grocery store with an item you already had 2+ of in your pantry? We have! Prevent this from happening by preparing your meals!
This magnetic white board is on our refrigerator. We plan out our meals every week and also jot down any random items we may need throughout the week ie. milk, bananas, coffee, etc.
It’s October ladies! Sandals get stored away and the patent leather heels come out! Mine are flats but you get the point.

I’ve tried every trick in the book to organize my jewelry. In drawers, in bins, even an actual jewelry box. Nothing works better than this gem of a piece.
Have you ever been scared to open your Tupperware cabinet afraid you’ll get attacked by lids?!
We invested about $50 in uniform Tupperware and it’s paid dividends for us! Everything has its place and you are never looking for the ONE lid that only fits that ONE container. And of course, we couldn’t go without labeling the location of each item!
We bought these Sistema containers at Homegoods & Marshalls and they are BPA free!
